UPDATE 12/3/20: Sony has confirmed LittleBigPlanet’s servers have been moved offline, after fans contacted Eurogamer concerned that community features for the franchise had been affected by DDOS attacks.
Fans have blamed the downtime on an ongoing DDOS attack by a disgruntled fan – more on all of that below. UPDATE 3/18/20: PlayStation has thanked LittleBigPlanet fans for their patience as it works to bring the franchise’s servers back online.Ī PlayStation spokesperson told Eurogamer today: “We are aware of server issues with LittleBigPlanet and are working to fix the issue and bring the servers back online.” “We’ll keep you updated on progress and appreciate continued patience as we work to resolve the issue.”Ī week after Eurogamer’s initial report, the LittleBigPlanet servers were still unavailable.
